Who am I and what do I do?

I’m a communications professional and a freelance journalist. I mostly write about culture. However, I do write on other topics as well, such as international issues, politics, social issues, etc. I have also worked as a content writer and a copywriter.

Why did I start a Substack?

I started a Substack because I believe this is a space where I feel the most comfortable connecting with talented people and potential clients. I was tired of AI slop and repetitiveness on LinkedIn and the weirdness of Twitter (Yes, I will still call it that).

People keep saying that this is the era of personal branding and you should put yourself out there. I don’t think I would be able to switch to a video format just yet, so writing and potentially an audio format are where I would feel the most comfortable.
